I am London based and am available to travel within the UK and internationally.
I have a home set-up with a fast fibre connection for remote working and a portable kit for on-location work, which has accompanied me on edits across the UK, Europe and US.
I have advanced experience of working with Avid and Premiere and intermediate After Effects and Photoshop skills
I am a versatile, creative, fast and technically skilled offline Editor
with more than 15 years' professional experience.
Specific | Diverse
My speciality is in food edits (which is a joy since I also love cooking)
But I also have experience across a wide range of factual formats and subjects including
obs-docs, factual docs, current affairs, children's programmes, sports, gardening, property, paranormal and travelogues.
I enjoy bringing my skills and experience to new subjects and formats and I have cut and crafted numerous first series
Long form | Short form
My focus in recent years has been on long-form factual edits, but I spent previous years editing fast-turnaround highlights reels, branded and live events films and short-form social edits often involving Photoshop, After Effects for motion graphics, colour grades and audio mixes.
I think this brings a versatility which makes me adaptable to the different styles, pacing and formats of each project.
Collaboration | Isolation
I love working collaboratively and one the joys of the job is working closely with so many creative, funny and talented people but I am equally comfortable being left to get stuck into an edit, working to my own devices, editing to a brief or crafting a story from a bin full of rushes.
Based in London | Ready to travel
I am available to work in London and I'm also happy to travel within the UK and internationally.
I have a home edit suite set-up for Avid and Premiere projects, with a fast fibre connection for remote working.
When I'm not editing...or cooking
I'm a keen boxer and having won my first fight a couple of years ago, I have so far avoided a second one in the hope of remaining undefeated.
I love live music, life drawing, running along the Thames river paths, feeding corvids (I once reared a talking magpie called Spike), exploring London and discovering the fabulous food it has to offer
